Lessons are billed annually and paid by monthly standing order
-
27 lessons are billed annually, and scheduled during term time over the course of the academic year (September - July). There is enough flexibility within this to allow for me to go examining, or (hopefully never) time off to be ill.
-
Lessons are not returnable – you can swap with someone else, or book a lesson in a holiday, but there is no guarantee that someone will swap or that holiday lessons will convenient for you.
-
Make up lessons don’t exist, see missed lesson policy.
-
If for some reason at the end of the academic year (July 31), 27 term time lessons have not been offered then holiday sessions may be taken or the balance rolled into the next academic year. This only applies if the 27 lessons have not been offered, not if they have not been taken. (if you miss a lesson, it’s on you; if I miss a lesson, it’s on me)
-
I front load my terms and am often away in the last few weeks of each term to examine, I will still make sure I offer 27 lessons during the three school terms, up until the end of July.
-
Any extra lessons beyond the allocated 27 will be billed at the end of August.
-
Three months’ notice is needed to terminate lessons, this is so that we can bring things to a proper close rather than stopping suddenly. My relationship with my pupils runs deep, often covering many years of their lives and when they are at their most vulnerable, I want to end every relationship positively with a feeling of proper closure.

Payment of fees is an indication of acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
